Body Alignment

Be aware of proper body alignment and

try to maintain throughout the day!

Check Body Alignment from Standing Pose:

Pelvis centered over heels

Pubic bone, hip bones and lower ribs are parallel

Measure space between wall and lumbar spine

Same distance between right ear to right shoulder compared to distance between left ear and left shoulder

Perpendicular line to floor through ear, shoulders, hip, knee and ankle

Correct Body Alignment:

Lift the crown of the head

Draw shoulders back and down while lifting rib cage up

Center pelvic bowl

Distribute weight evenly under both feet
